Let’s do this.
Kavanaugh may have gotten confirmed to the Supreme Court last year, but the fight isn’t over. We’re asking House Democrats to investigate his fitness for office since the Senate failed to do so. Because no matter how entitled Kavanaugh thinks he is, that seat belongs to us - the people. Join Women’s March, Demand Justice and Center for Popular Democracy on the anniversary of his confirmation, October 6th, to take back the Supreme Court.

Why we are calling for action.
Brett Kavanaugh joined the Supreme Court last year despite grave concerns about his fitness for the office, and the Court has been facing a crisis of legitimacy ever since. Serious questions remain about whether Kavanaugh lied to the Senate, whether he sexually assaulted the women who credibly accused him of doing so, and whether he is ultimately fit to be a justice on the Supreme Court. A thorough vetting of him and his record is more important now than ever. Congress is the only entity who can investigate, and we’re calling on House Democrats to finish the work that the Senate should have done last year.
But they need to do it NOW. Ever since Kavanaugh’s confirmation, dozens of states have rushed to enact extreme anti-abortion laws that seek to overturn the core holding of Roe v. Wade. This comes as no surprise, since President Trump repeatedly promised on the campaign trail that Roe would be overturned “automatically” once he had his choice of justices. Kavanaugh might soon fulfill this promise, coming to the Court with the endorsement a host of anti-choice organizations and with past opinions, speeches, and writings that indicate a deep-seated hostility toward Roe. Before the Court hears any one of the myriad abortion-related cases that are currently making their way through the lower courts, the public deserves to know the truth about whether Kavanaugh lied under oath, whether he committed sexual assault, and whether he really deserves to be on the Supreme Court.
